Miramar Cove, a 125-acre master-planned community adjacent to the Miramar Park of Commerce, drew coverage from Floridian Development as one of West Broward’s largest new mixed-use projects to move into construction. Designed around a 15-minute city concept, the development transforms one of the region’s premier large-scale parcels into a walkable environment integrating residential, retail, office, and recreational space, with full buildout of the two-phase project targeted for early 2028.
As Floridian Development reports, Sunbeam Development Corporation is delivering 2,874 residential units, including approximately 200 townhomes, alongside a 185-room hotel, 125,000 square feet of office space, and 400,000 square feet of retail. The commercial footprint features dedicated space for a 35,000-square-foot grocer plus a mix of restaurants, entertainment venues, and daily conveniences.
Beyond expanding Broward County’s housing options, this new Miramar development incorporates nearly 40 acres of green space, linear trails, and waterfront amenities, including a 24.4-acre estuary and the “Sunset Shore” beach concept. Major infrastructure and roadway upgrades along Red Road and Miramar Parkway reinforce Sunbeam Development Corporation’s focus on building long-term value in South Florida.
