‘Miramar Cove’ to be a Full-Scale ’15-Minute City’ at Red Road and Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida

Miramar Cove, a 125-acre master-planned community at Red Road and Miramar Parkway, was profiled by Florida YIMBY as a full-scale 15-minute city taking shape in Broward County. Situated one block from Florida’s Turnpike, the walkable development is designed to support approximately 8,000 residents at full buildout, positioning it as one of West Broward’s most significant new mixed-use communities.

As Florida YIMBY reports, the project will deliver 2,874 residential units, including roughly 200 townhomes, alongside a robust commercial footprint. Current plans call for 400,000 square feet of retail anchored by a 35,000-square-foot grocer, 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, and a 185-room hotel. Site preparation is underway, with the development moving forward in two phases toward a 2028 completion.

Under the leadership of Sunbeam Properties & Sunbeam Development CEO Andy Ansin, the project reflects the company’s long-term commitment to high-impact regional development. By converting strategically located land into a vibrant, mixed-use hub, Sunbeam Development Corporation continues to expand housing, retail, and commercial infrastructure across South Florida.
