Crews break ground on new Miramar Cove project set to transform community in 2028

Miramar Cove, a $1 billion master-planned community at Miramar Parkway and Red Road, was featured on WSVN Channel 7 News as crews officially broke ground on the project set to transform West Broward by 2028. Positioned as an inland waterfront destination, the 125-acre development centers on a signature 5.5-acre translucent blue water cove by Blue Mar Basin and a resident beach club, drawing project leaders and municipal officials to the groundbreaking.

As WSVN reports, the project will deliver 2,874 residential units, including roughly 200 townhomes, alongside 400,000 square feet of retail, a 35,000-square-foot grocery anchor, 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, and a 185-room hotel. The site will also incorporate five miles of walking paths and more than 40 acres of green space, with full completion targeted for 2028.

Spearheaded by Sunbeam Properties & Sunbeam Development CEO Andy Ansin, this new Miramar development represents a major investment in the region’s commercial and residential landscape, turning one of West Broward’s key parcels into a walkable, mixed-use hub.
