Miramar Cove, one of western Broward County’s largest remaining development parcels, was covered by CRE-Sources as Sunbeam Development Corporation moved the 125-acre master plan from planning into active construction. Situated near Miramar Parkway and Red Road, the development transforms a strategic location near Florida’s Turnpike into a walkable live-work-play hub for West Broward.
As CRE-Sources reports, the development will yield 2,874 residential units, including roughly 200 townhomes, alongside 400,000 square feet of retail and dining space anchored by a specialty grocer. Plans also call for 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, a 185-room hotel, and a 24.4-acre natural estuary integrated with a public trail loop and green space.
Led by the Ansin family, this new Miramar development builds on the company’s established presence in the city, expanding beyond the nearby Miramar Park of Commerce. Through coordinated master planning, Sunbeam Development Corporation is executing a multi-phase vision for a walkable commercial and residential center, with full buildout targeted for 2028.
