Miramar Cove, positioned as West Broward’s first inland waterfront destination, was featured by Browardist as Sunbeam Development Corporation broke ground on the 125-acre mixed-use community at Miramar Parkway and Red Road. The project centers on a 5.5-acre translucent blue water cove designed to bring coastal-style amenities and public gathering spaces to the western submarket, reorienting the traditional suburban site plan around water.
As Browardist reports, the master plan places its central basin, boardwalk promenade, and green space at the heart of the community. At full buildout, this new Miramar development will encompass 2,874 residential units, 400,000 square feet of retail, 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, and a 185-room hotel, integrated alongside five miles of walking paths and more than 40 acres of parks and trails.
Under the leadership of Sunbeam Properties & Sunbeam Development CEO Andy Ansin and developed by Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles, Miramar Cove continues Sunbeam Development Corporation’s ongoing expansion within Miramar as the property moves toward its planned 2028 completion.
