125-Acre Mixed-Use Waterfront Development Breaks Ground at 2800 Executive Way in Miramar, Florida

Miramar Cove, a 125-acre mixed-use waterfront development at Miramar Parkway and Red Road, was profiled by Florida YIMBY as construction commenced at the 2800 Executive Way site in Broward County. Located near Florida’s Turnpike and minutes from Hard Rock Stadium, the groundbreaking marks the official start of site execution for one of West Broward’s most significant new master-planned communities.

As Florida YIMBY reports, the project encompasses 2,874 residential units, including roughly 200 townhomes, integrated with 400,000 square feet of commercial space, 125,000 square feet of Class A offices, and a 185-room hotel. The central amenity is a 5.5-acre translucent blue water cove by Blue Mar Basin flanked by a pedestrian promenade.

Under the leadership of Sunbeam Properties & Sunbeam Development CEO Andy Ansin, phase one is launching with 1,100 multifamily units across three eight-story buildings alongside core retail. Developer Stiles is leading construction, with Sunbeam Development Corporation aiming for a targeted 2028 initial opening.
