Miramar Cove, billed as South Florida’s first inland waterfront destination, was featured in Bisnow’s regional deal sheet as Sunbeam Development Corporation and Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles broke ground on the 125-acre mixed-use community in West Broward. Nearly one-third of the development site is dedicated to water features, including a central swimmable cove and synchronized fountain shows.
As Bisnow reports, this new Miramar development is designed as a 15-minute community delivering 2,874 residential units, 400,000 square feet of retail anchored by a 35,000-square-foot grocery store, 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, and a 185-key hotel. The walkable layout incorporates five miles of walking paths, 10 acres of green space, and 25 acres of natural trails.
Sunbeam Development Corporation owns Miramar Cove with Stiles spearheading development. The team plans to host the official grand opening for Miramar Cove by the end of 2028.
