CREW Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton, the local chapter of the global organization dedicated to advancing women in commercial real estate, brought together leading commercial real estate professionals for “Anatomy of a Deal: Miramar Cove,” an inside look at the strategy, partnerships and decision-making behind one of Broward County’s most significant mixed-use developments.
Held at Stiles’ offices on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, the event gave attendees the opportunity to hear directly from members of the team bringing the Miramar Cove development to life, with conversations on construction, architecture, legal, design and planning.
Located at Miramar Parkway and Red Road, Miramar Cove is a 125-acre waterfront community designed to bring a new way to live, connect, and enjoy everyday life in West Broward. The development broke ground in May 2026 and will deliver approximately 400,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment space anchored by a 35,000-square-foot grocer, alongside 2,874 residences with a private beach club, 125,000 square feet of Class A office, a 185-key full-service hotel, a boardwalk, and more than 40 acres of parks and trails.
At the center of the development is the signature 5.5-acre translucent blue water cove by Blue Mar Basins®, creating a true waterfront dining and gathering district unlike anything else in Southeast Florida. A key differentiating factor for future retailers and restaurants will be Miramar Cove’s daily fountain shows featuring lights, music and dancing water for a mesmerizing experience that will keep visitors coming back. Miramar Cove is owned by Sunbeam Development Corporation and being built by Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corporation, one of the Southeast’s most experienced commercial real estate development and construction firms.
Featured speakers included Edmée Morin-Collins of Sunbeam Properties & Sunbeam Development, representatives from Stiles, Jackie Di Stefano of Greystar and Kristen Sweatland of LandDesign, among other members of the project team.

In addition to providing an educational and networking opportunity for South Florida’s commercial real estate community, the event served as a fundraiser to help support CREW Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton members attending the 2026 CREW Network Convention, furthering the chapter’s mission of advancing women in commercial real estate through education, leadership development and professional connections.
